About us

We select from the best adaptive and experienced ski instructors working at the Snow Centre and who can deliver our programme using our flexible and skier centred approach, to become our mentors.

Between us we’re qualified in a variety of SNOWSPORTS disciplines certified from various SNOWSPORTS bodies so that we have a wealth of experience and knowledge in traditional teaching methods.

All of our instructors hold a current first aid and child safeguarding certificate and are DBS registered.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have some of our mentors trained in instructing skiers who may do better in a sit-ski for all or part of the session.

Many have taken additional adaptive training and qualifications or have experience in teaching skiers who do better with a less traditional teaching approach or who need specific support for physical, emotional or learning needs.

One of our goals is to continue to develop the training and education of our team.
